Here's my two cents. The type of threads like the one at EOG will never end. That's the nature of forums it seems. I've been on sports forums about as long as they have existed, and they're not gonna change.
The good thing about this forum is that people won't spend $25 a month to spew hostilities, especially if they figure it won't be tolerated. You can't stop them on a free forum for some reason.
It's just another day in the office in my opinion. This one is nothing compared to the bash thread on RAS over at twoplustwo. The naysayers are like a dog barking down at the end of the street.
It's actually good they have dissenting opinions. Personally, I'm finding less reasons every time I see one of these threads to get involved.
