It's been touched upon a couple of times here, and on some other forums, that "Steve Fezzik" is an alias (understandably so). If true, that would make busting fraudulent "Steve Fezziks" a lot harder. It seems to me to be a hazard of the job. Using an alias is probably necessary in this line of work, and the trade off is that you have to deal with other people using the same alias unless you've gone to great lengths to protect it legally.
I think as long as LVASports goes on record every time a fake "Steve Fezzik" pops up, it is satisying its obligations to its members here.
Correct. Though Twitter, as I said before, is a bit of a different animal than rogue websites. Twitter actually verifies that people are who they say they are. For example, my girlfriend, who uses an alias as a model had to send Twitter a self taken pic with some info on a card to get her account activated. I also heard that they verify most celebrities, who are also using aliases, ie. Charlie Sheen is really "something Estevez".
I would think that a picture of Fezz holding a check that says Steve Fezzik from the Hilton would help.
