One MLS play for Saturday Night Columbus @ Seattle UNDER 2.0 and 2.5 –113 (5dimes)
Since the Sounders have come into the league they have been one of the leagues stingiest teams when playing at home. Since the start of the 2009 season they have played 19 home games and only conceded 11 goals. Each of these teams has excelled on the defense side since the start of the 2009 season. Through 35 games Columbus has only allowed 37 goals and through 38 games the Sounders have only allowed 37 goals. It is possible that the Crew’s leading goal scorer Guillermo Barros Schelotto will not play due to the artificial turf at Qwest field. Also key players in Marshall, Padula and Ekpo will not play making it very difficult for Columbus to generate scoring chances. Columbus has played well on defense this season just conceding two goals in three games with one of the goals coming on a penalty kick. Last season these teams met twice and played 1-1 and 1-0 games. It is likely we see the same type of game again this season with the rosters not changing that much from last year to this year.
