Pacquaio vs Floyd hypothetical lines...

Pacquaio vs Floyd hypothetical lines... I see CRIS and pinny have PBF at -140. I would like to get thoughts/opinions on this? After seeing the last 2 fights of each, my thoughts are PBF is almost impossible to hit, but Pacq throws so many punches and is so aggressive, that it would be very difficult for PBF to avoid many shots. No way PBF can knock anybody out, definitely not Pacq. So IMO, Pacq should be the fave right?

Mayweather is the definition of a sharp shooter and isn't going to be standing in front of Pacquiao like his last 4 or so foes. Mayweather's power is also under rated by most. A good fight to check out for a super fast fighter against Mayweather is Zab Judah. Should be able to find it on youtube. Judah's hand speed is/was blinding even compared to Pacquiao's. Pacquiao can be hit and there aren't many more accurate then Mayweather. I'd also rate Mayweathers hand speed as faster then Pacquiao's at WW. When this was originally posted on some books Pacquiao was favored and the heavy hitters where pounding the money on Mayweather. Odds got to about -200 for Mayweather. Don't spend any money on this wager. This fight may never happen and I'm pretty certain it isn't happening this year. Don't get me wrong, I'd sell a grand parent for front row of that fight.
Another easy winner for PBF vs Shane ... BUT.... I totally agree with members, Pacman EZ over PBF. Pac will be the aggressor and is just as quick as PBF and hits a ton harder. ALL IN!
Again, I'll have to disagree. Mayweather will KO pacman.
IMO, Pacman has one of, if not the toughest chins in boxing. PBF's last 2 fights vs Marquez and Sugar, he was not close to knocking anybody out. He did however dominate by points, and yes he is very quick and defensive. But...IMO Pacman will be all over him, and will either KO him, or win by a unanimous. Curious on your thoughts here.
You have been really good on your picks here but... "Again, I'll have to disagree. Mayweather will KO pacman." This equals a LOL "funny statement of the year" on boxing picks. If they fight and my doubts solely rest on Floyd wanting no part of Pacmen-the only way fight gets made is pretty boy spent too much money-he "needs" this fight for all the wrong reasons-see tax bill. Fight could easily have a KO but Floyd will run for his life, very hard to KO that. It will most likely be very lopsided decision easily in Pacs favor. There are many more reasons why I feel this way. The main one is why first fight was canceled. I do know what was offered by Pac camp with the arbitration and they had to offer nothing. Remember the testing Floyds camp wanted is not required. Pac agreed to almost all the testing-sans right before the fight. He even said they could draw the blood in the ring the second the fight ended-Floyds camp passed insisting blood can/WOULD be drawn on day of fight. Thats looking for an excuse to get out of fight. Floyd took 2 years off. Look at the history of fighters who make comebacks because they are broke. The record is not "pretty". Again, I doubt they fight and if they do not its all on Floyd. Truly if I was Pacman I would delay anyway. The longer the delay the worse it is for Floyd. Also, locally the guy who shot up a skating rink was just charged and will eventually be talking. Thats more added concerns that PBF has on his mind.

Mosley took the tests as did Mayweather, how is Pacquiao going to save face by refusing to take the tests? The only test administered on fight night was after the fight as required by the state commission board. Mayweather took 21 months of but is and always will be a gym rat. He was never out of shape and he's already had two fights since the lay off. One against Marquez who he owned, who it easily could be argued that Pacquiao lost to and the other against a three time defending belt holder. You can't really predict how the shooting will effect the situation and if you hadn't noticed Mayweather is a consummate pro in the ring. Isn't it hanging over Mayweather's head now? Yet he still dominated Mosley. Funny thing is I'd give even money that Mosley beats Pacquiao. You just underestimate the brilliance of Mayweather. Are you are a Mayweather hater? Do a little research and watch some film and you may change your mind about this fight. Mayweather is as fast if not faster then Pacquiao. Mayweather is taller and has a 5 INCH REACH advantage. I'm a huge fan of Pacquiao. I really don't like Mayweather all that much yet I don't see this as a really close fight. Mayweather would school Pacquiao most likely this ends in Pacquiao on the canvas. As I've said before, its your money bet it how you like. I'm just offering my opinion on fights. If it isn't welcome, I will stop.
Yes, God forbid two people disagree. Both arguments have merit, and there's no reason not to hear either side. I only have one thing to add. You mention Mayweather has a five-inch reach advantage. My response -- and this is as a total ploppy here -- so what? What is he going to do with it?
Floyd wants no part of Pacman. If he did, with the money the fight would generate, he would have already made it happen. Mayweather is very smart... much more so than he is ever given credit for. He rushed to get the Mosley fight, because he knew the outcome. He is stalling on the Pacman fight IMO because he knows the outcome. I really want to see this fight. If it does happen, my money will be on Pacman, because Floyd has told me that is the right side! :)
mayweather knows from his camp that Pacman is on performance enhancers and wants a fair fight. i dont think this is too much to ask for. Why would Pacman refuse to take a drug test within 24 days of the fight unless he was hiding something. My money would certainly be on floyd here and under in rounds. He would catch manny and put him on the canvas in my opinion. Boxing needs this fight in my opinion. MMA is getting huge and boxing has now taken a backseat. Last night got some good interest for a change. I also agree with someone else. I think Pacman would be a real slight favorite over mosely. maybe -140 or so. good discussion thru this thread though.
