Phil Mickelson Diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis

Phil Mickelson Diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis In the PGA Championship media sessions today, broadcast on the Golf Channel.....Mickelson talks about his fight with Psoriatic Arthritis, this is new and newsworthy, it started before the US Open. No wonder he can't grab the No. # 1 ranking??
NAH, he just needs to swing that sawed off 1 wood "HARDER".
I'll tell you from experience as I have it, and it took alot of time to get it diagnosed, that once I started on embrel, it almost immediately got significantly better and after 1 1/2 years on it, it is almost an afterthought. It certainly explains alot because undiagnosed it hurt like hell! I'm sure he is one happy guy if he has injected his new drug just 2 times.

Well he didn't exactly say sausages, LOL, but he did say he couldn't walk straight and that his ACL was weak. Also, reports from the media say that this type of arthritis is incurable.
Swelling of an entire finger or toe, which sometimes can cause the fingers or toes to look like sausages
Just FYI, there are lots of different ways psoriatic arthritis can manifest itself. This is just one way. It can be really painful, though, and in some forms if untreated it can really create havoc with your joints.

And if anything, people may overreact to this news. This might be the week to play him.

Prince Fielder would disagree.
