"Injuries"....to fade or not to fade

"Injuries"....to fade or not to fade Sort of comical when we look back on the plays this year that we faded guys with "injuries". 1. Tits Mickelson WD from the pro-am, gets hauled off to the hospital for severe dehydration and gets multiple IV bags of fluids. So we bet Tiger -180 for the tourney...uh no. 2. David Toms has a shoulder that he is to have surgery on "after the masters", we fade him and he just keeps getting better. 3. Lebron has to shoot a FT left handed because he cant lift his arm....grab a wad of Boston +7.5 last night...uh no. 4. Boo "Id rather be feeshin'" Weekley has been injured for the last year and he almost wins Harbourtown. 5. Brandon Roy is definitely OUT for the playoffs with a blown knee, yet he comes in and sparks his team. The list just goes on... 35% ATS lifetime.
Does that 35% include fading Jordan when he had the flu? :)
Great post. If memory serves me correctly though we actually bet on Boo at Harbour or right around then. I posted a thread on this after the Masters and got no response. I am new to this but it seems that a lot of bets were based on interviews, media reports etc not actual results. Couples with his bad back, Perry etc. Curious to hear some of the veterans chime in whether the recent results are an aberration or whether the guys may just have started bad mouthing their play to lower expectations.
You have to admit, if you're a professional athlete, is there a better way to take some of the pressure off?

According to iseekgolf.com, Robert Allenby incurred a wrist injury over the weekend, and may not be able to compete in this week's U.S. Open. "I took my kids out fishing on Sunday in the boat and I must have twisted it somehow throwing the fish up on to the boat and then back into the water," said Allenby during his practice round this afternoon. "I can hardly hold the club at the moment. ... I can’t even squeeze my fist at present it is hurting so much. ... I will get some physio afternoon and have some more treatment." Note he is T30th after 3 rounds. Another LOSER.

Update on the injuries at The French Open Fading the wounded... 1. Lee "bloodclot in ankle" Westwood is at -3. We are looking OK as Martin Kramer is leading the golf tourney at -8, and Luke Donald is at -2. 2. Colin "The Full Monty" with the wounded calf, missed the cut but we got a push with Darren "DUI" Clarke as they both shoot +2 and miss cut. 3. Ian "insect bite on my nut sack" Poulty is at -3, but did not fade a gonad bite, figured he could play thru the pain.
