Running for golf lines and Boyd Gaming

Running for golf lines and Boyd Gaming During the regular PGA Tour events, I get to only a couple of local Las Vegas sportsbooks for golf matchups, the M, Hilton, Stations and Cal Neva. But for the majors I will make a point of checking every sportsbook in the State. (It helps to have 97 contacts) So, today I'm running around town and for the likes of me I always forget, do not bother with Boyd Gaming properties. Regardless, I stroll into The Orleans, and who do I see, Bob Scucci, the main man/sports director of Boyd Gaming and I knew I was wasting my time. But, I go up to him anyways and say "hey Bob how's it going." And he says, "Good how about you," fine etc, "do you have any golf matchups this week?," he replies, "why is there a tournament this week I should know about." I rest my case. The guy has no clue, never gave out a comp in his life, stiffed me when he was at The Fremont and prevented me from entering the Startdust Football Contest. (True story ask John Kelly) In other words, do not patronize Boyd Gaming properties, Sun Coast, Gold Coast, Sams Town, California etc... for golf and many other non main stream sports. They are brutal!
Yes, unreal how bad it is in town.
Last season they denied my parlay card action. How many cards was I attempting to put in? ONE $40 card!
I don't dispute anything bad that has been said about them, and, frankly, there isn't a single Las Vegas (or offshore) book that doesn't display some form of chicken, uh, stuff behavior, but Boyd/Coast is still in my "top half" of Las Vegas sports books. They have an outlet, the Gold Coast, that is open late. Recently, I went by the Cal Neva outlet at Binion's at 7:30 PM on a Friday. They were closed! Are you kidding me? 7:30 PM on a Friday? They have at least plausible limits. They don't limit me to $300 Superbowl prop bets, like AC Charlie's, or $300 CFL totals, like Cal Neva. As far as I know they've never tried to undo a ticket they've already written, deal a one sided line, and their futures bets don't try to take out 50% of the pool. I think there would be widespread agreement that M and Hilton are the top two, and that Harrah's is at the bottom. Of the rest, I've had a lot better experiences at Boyd than most of them. Perhaps that's just me. Of course when anyone is a chicken, uh, stuff book, they should get called out on it.

Lupo once filled out a 'Suspicious Gaming Activity Report" on a friend of mine. His crime?? Winning. HE cited some bets of mine as being 'borderline illegal'. OF COURSE, 100% legal for them to pound the tourists playing 5 teamers at 20-1. OR to pound them dealing a game -38 when the mket was 36.......BUT just try to take +38........UHOH. Circled game. Dime limit.
Leroys is much worse than Harrahs. was at Hooters at 7:30 PM during a Lakers-Celtics game had a baseball ticket to cash, it was closed went by Fitzgeralds a few days later at 3 pm, closed. Leroys....their nowhere
