Sergio Mora vs. Bryan Vera (2/4) I had a nice little write up for this fight but my hotel internet took a dump and I lost it....
So I'll summarize.
Mora is fast, slick and has a very good chin.
Vera is slow, slow like 'lasses in the winter time' (outlaw josey wales)
Mora seems to lack power, though he was turning Mosley's head with upper cuts and straight shots.
Vera has good power but if Mosley couldn't stop Mora with clean power shots will Vera be able to?
As they (who the hell is 'they') say, styles make fights. Mora is totally wrong for Vera. Vera will look embarrassingly slow and Mora will likely win by a very wide UD. Though I give Mora a chance to get the stoppage as I think his power is better then many think. If I can get 9.5 at a good price I'd bet the under.
Vera will try to force the action and Mora will bob and weave and strike from either the outside or inside. Mora anticipates well and Vera will be hitting air often. Likely it will be comical.
