In all fairness getting down is not an issue for me at all (5-10k+).
I assume you were talking about getting down 5-10k with the Wednesday evening releases, right? I don't recall seeing any legitimate complaints about the Wednesday evening releases. The only "complaints" I personally made involved Alf mentioning a couple scam books having these matchups in addition to the legitimate ones (scam books like BetUS and sportsbook.com) so I simply mentioned that "I wouldn't recommend anyone use these books" since I figured Alf is more of a Vegas bettor than an online bettor. Yes, the market will always be illiquid to some extent, but "illiquid" doesn't even begin to describe the Tuesday market. I will never understand why the remotest constructive criticism of Fezzik, Alf, et al causes so much outrage from the masses considering that we're paying subscribers. These guys aren't posting out of the goodness of their heart. Edited to add that Members post above illustrates my point clearly.
I for one do not care if Alf releases less plays because one got away upon waiting. In the end any release before 10:30 AM on Wednesday gets his group down and maybe 4 subscribers.
This is the jest of it. 2 plays released Wednesday at 10:30 is of more benefit than 5 released on Tuesday afternoon. And you aren't blowing up the market.

Granted it takes multiple accounts/outs but getting down isnt an issue for me. I think the delivery method needs some tweaking for the plays. I am also fairly certain there is people getting the plays before release on the forum and these people most probably are driving the lines before hand. At the end of the day ALF is a good handicapper and we should be glad we are receiving the plays for peanuts... $25/month isnt much really. I am sure when ALF had a public service the cost was much higher. I would personally subscribe if there was an option for a private service. mags

Gentlemen, this is a good discussion. And we will continue to work on the best stragedy to getting you my golf matchups. For the record, during regular weekly PGA Tour events, I play 90% of my matchups on-line. In fact the last three weeks I have not bet anything in town with cash. But this will change big time for next week.....the MASTERS!.....and the MASTERS should be the topic of our next golf discussion.

However, perhaps a time range (ie Wed 10am -2pm) or something could be discussed and posted here prior to next week. Thanks and Good Luck
Definitely look forward to the Masters, and the time"frame" idea sounds good. I do agree with Alf that an exact time or release warning might not be the best thing, because of creating more steam at some of the shops.
I vote go back to the Wednesday at 2pm PST time slot or even Wednesday noon PST. It seemed to be working out just fine.
I agree with Burger. Seemed like when the realease time was on Wednesday afternoon, most people were getting numbers at least somewhat close to the released number. When ALF released Tuesday and most of our books came out with the opening matchup numbers on Wednesday, like this week, most of us couldn't get close to any of the numbers.
Couples goes from 7 up after 1st round to 8 back after 3rd round. I'd say that is quite the feat.
