Shrink ?
RIP friends. We barely got to know you.
amen to that, looked forward WW and what Ken had to say. The older you get the shorter life seems to be, appreciate every second with your family and friends. God bless all his family.
EOG's web people likely work bankers' hours, if it's not just something that a guy works on once a week. Mods, on the other hand, tend to root around the message board at all hours (such a characteristic often helps them get the job). I say this without knowing a thing about EOG, but it would be typical of most sites.
It really isn't that difficult to update a website after an entire day after the mods "confirmed" the owner of the website is deceased. There's still nothing in the news a day later despite Ken being such a well known figure, so I'll remain doubting Thomas, as it were.
Its been reported in the news And its being reported as "not an accident", foul play involved. I feel real bad for the family but it seems all the finger pointing looks like it was not hearsay. Feel real bad that the wife was with him if it turns out to be revenge.

Management never thinks Web-first. If they mention it on the site, they likely will do so tomorrow. At any rate, I am sorry to veer off-topic on this sadly historical event. First Skip Hughes and now this.

His son-in-law just posted that they both committed suicide 4 days ago, which would explain why Shrink's farewell message read like a suicide note, but he was well known enough in the internet gambling industry that I'm really surprised no news outlets have reported on it 4 days after the fact. I know the news tends not to publicize suicides but he was a pretty well known public figure.
A funeral home in Virginia has an obituary and memorial service listed, but the date of death is listed as yesterday whereas Shrink's son in law said they passed last Wednesday or Thursday. thoughts and prayers are with the family
Shrink was very well connected and knew a lot about the offshore gaming industry. Thru his affiliates he was in contact with many higher ups in the offshore world. In addition he bet big, booked etc. He could easily have talked about who he knows etc. I personally will not throw out that shrink and his wife were enterred into witness protection for involvement in the recent arrests or potential indictment against him for booking making or tax evasion. He lives in cheasapeak whicc is 1-2 hours outside of DC. I dont think it would be too crazy for the FBI to be aware and approach him for something like this. I am wishing the family the best and thoughts and prayers with the family if the deaths truly occurred. Until i see actual 100% proof i will not believe all teh internet gossip.
