THE soccer rule change which would REALLY help Soccer

THE soccer rule change which would REALLY help Soccer I don't like this soccer. BUT certain parts are just beyond stupid IMO. 1. HOW IN THE WORLD can the team benefit when their goalie stops play by catching the ball???????? This is the dumbest rule I've ever seen. I'm no hockey rules expert, but I think when the goalie ties up the puck, it's a faceoff in your zone, so it carries consequences. Why not a similar rule in Soccer? Hell, give the other guys a corner kick, ANYTHING to improve scoring. Now one might argue that a lot of goalies are going to get thier butts kicked as this rule will have the ball loose in front of the net, with dudes charging right at them. GOOD! 2. This "we have extra time, it's about 3 minutes" is asinine. IN our sports we know the time down to the nearest .1 second in the NBA. How in the world can their not be an exact soccer timer?? I am convinced that is the game had always had the rules above, there is NO WAY anyone would be shooting for them to change them to the current rules.
LOL... On #1 I don't agree... #2 It's always shady.\ IMO they need to modify the offside. For every 10 long ball passes, 6 are completly missed, 3 are bobbled out of control and the one that succeeds is always offside. They need to open up the game. On a side note, soccer players on average compared to other 'pro' sports (stamina not included) must be the least skilled players. Every team basically has 8-9 stiffs and 1-2 good players.
Every one of those stiffs could kick a ball closer to a target 50 yards away than you could throw it.
The offsides is ridiculous. Imagine no fast breaks in the NBA. Also, Americans like scoring. What do you say after a 0-0 game. "Wow did you see that great pass in the 85th minute, it was awesome." And I just lost a bunch of money on the New Zealand goal in "extra time". Watching and you have no idea how long til you win and you end up losing cause the guys Timex stopped or he forgot to push the button. Insane!!

Not hard to see how "some" soccer matches have been fixed
Also, Americans like scoring.
Soccer is not designed for Americans.
you are dead one right once again ..and they need an icing penalty or GRASSING , as well... the ball just goes all over the place with VERY LITTLE scoring chances
Every one of those stiffs could kick a ball closer to a target 50 yards away than you could throw it.
thanks... I also don't make their salaries for a reason. If you tell me the average soccer player is comparable to the average pro athlete in any other sport, than you are crazy. The truth is with DIV I, II and III in 10+ diff contries with 15+ teams in each league the pool of players is so big the average skill of a pro soccer player is lower than any other sport. Their shooting percentages of off target/on target considering the size of the net is amazingly low.
With all due respect, you guys sound like a bunch of monkeys. How many of you guys ever even played any soccer? Probably none, and if you did you were probably terrible at it. Is everyone supposed to suddenly start babbling about how much soccer sucks because Fezzik makes some rediculous, nonsensical, comical comments. Everyone has obviously gone mad waiting for football season to start. Ok, f..k it, my opinion is they should just double the size of the goal, and that should solve all the problems.
I could take or leave Fezzik's suggestions to improve the game, but I have one rule change I would like to see adopted: If a player falls to the ground acting injured and manages to play at full speed within the next five minutes, the next foul committed against that player is ruled "play on". If the infraction is worthy of a yellow card, then it's called a foul, if it's ruled a red card, then a yellow is given. Basically, if someone flops and either isn't carried off or doesn't try to get right back in the game, the other team gets one free shot at him. This would get rid of the flopping. I'm looking at you team Italy.
