That "buzzing" sound on World Cup telecast

That "buzzing" sound on World Cup telecast Can someone please explain to me what that weird buzzing I hear during the games played today? While flipping through the channels in my hotel room, I tried to watch a little of the "action." Three months ago I watched college hoops from 9 am until 10 pm on the Thursday and Friday of the opening round of the NCAA. I can't watch 10 minutes of futbol.

I thought FIFA was going to do something about the horns. Hard to watch and listen, part of the enjoyment of the game is listening to the commentary.
In the France game the color announcer was a dead ringer for groundskeeper Willy from the Simpsons. It was fantastic.

This sport reminds me of some of the happy hours around town. Mediocre action but hardly any scoring.
