Three Biggest Trades for 2011

I know nothing about stocks, nada zero zilch. But i read an interesting article last night about how a British think tank is projecting that mobile gaming is going to explode in the next few years, particularly when Apple (and this is based on assumption, i guess) starts offering gaming apps in their onlne store. Apparently it's already pretty big in Asia, particularly in Japan where there's some kind of mobile horseracing app being used (the Japanese bet enormous sums on horseracing, it's the big thing over there). And of course we have Cantor already implementing here in Vegas, Betfair has some presence in the US and would no doubt get involved (if they aren't already), and then there's the imminent legalization of online poker, which got me looking into this whole stock thing to begin with. That could play a part as well. Not even sure what i'm trying to say here, except that it's something i would look at, and i'm curious as to what might be the best way to take advantage of this?
Have you seen CNBC lately?
The timing is funny behind that question, lol...
Screw sports. Great thread. I should of payed more attention in school instead of smokin dope and gambling. Damn. Also great question Discreet. I really like the sounds of what you speak of. I really wonder what would be the best way to partake in that. Please.
What do you call donkeys in your trade? In the video poker world, we use "ploppies," because they will plop down in front of any machine, regardless of paytable.
I don't know that I'd use the word donkeys per se b/c some of the smartest money can take a bath in what in hindsight can appear to be a very dumb investment. I think the entire Madoff situation exemplifies this...IN general though, people who follow the hot trend well after the meat of the move has happened and enter trades at bad spots using leverage can put themselves in a very difficult position...
