Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods The reports coming out of Augusta GA, is that the entertainment people TMZ, Access Hollywood etc., are going to try and get to Tiger Woods. They have said they are going to find where he is staying and stake out there. Tiger asked the Masters Committee if he could stay on property where they have lodging and they denied his request. He may be forced to fly out of town just to get some sleep, perhaps stay and sleep in his private jet? Who knows? Tiger is under a microscope like never before. His mental edge for this event has to be shot. He'll be on pins and needles with every shot and waiting for someone in the gallery to heckle him. However, if anyone can handle the situation it is the World's No.#1. I've said this many times before and I'll mention it here again. We are blessed in a time in our life to see the greatest golfer of all-time AND WE CAN BET ON HIM. I rarely bet against Tiger Woods. We find ways to make money betting on Tiger. I started keeping a record of betting on Tiger in 2002 and NOW its........31-4. Last year we had Tiger over Mickelson in the Masters. They were paired in the last round and Tiger missed a 6 footer on 18 and we lost by one shot. The rest of the year we picked spots, laid less than -250 in any matchup and bet him every time he had the lead to win. Again, however, having said that, he rarely shoots low the first round in a major and given all the circumstances, I've seen OV/UN 70.5 to 72 on his first round score prop so far. I played OV 70.5 -140 1st Round at MGM/Mirage properties. I would recommend it at -150 or less. I do not plan on fading Tiger in matchups. I'll bet on him if they pair him against less than top notch guys. So far there is Tiger vs Els and Tiger vs Mickelson (I'll pass)potential matchups at the Greek. We have some very sharp handicappers and golf guys on this forum. I would like to get your take on Tiger. Blair, we need your input when you get to Augusta. Thanks!
I think your going to see a fired up tiger the first day, every time he looks at the ball he's going to see a reporters face on it. He will play very focused early and when you have been practicing so much you can't wait to play and usually play well. Sunday will be his problem having not been tournament tested.
Thanks Mose. I lean the other way. Tiger doesn't know what to expect in Round One, the crowd may say something embarrassing, the players have expressed that they do not want to be paired with him. The legend Bobby Jones said:" There's golf and then there's tournament golf and the two are not related." If Tiger is on or near the lead we'll probably bet him and I think then he will relish the spotlight again.
reports today Woods was wild way left with the driver 4 times but his short game looked very ready. He was trying out a new driver.

Good info Blackout! What I gathered from the press conference was very little and I thought it was very boring. However, prior to Tiger's press conference on the Golf Channel, Freddy Couples who played with Tiger today said, "he is not sharp." Also, the swings was saw were not good. Add in Blackout's report and Tiger is a definite go against Round One for sure.
I'm not at home to link it but search David Dusek, golf magazine. He followed woods and reported
Saw Tiger -185 also paired against Choi. Any interest??
how would you like to have to putt those greens having not played any tournament golf in six month's. I know when I haven't played in a while the first thing that I struggle with is the putter, expecially the speed. I like westwood, goosen, harrington. Don't like phil michelson, 2010, wins 0-5, top fives 0-5 no thanks, tiger probably makes the cut, ernie playing well but how hungry will he be after just winning he might be a little fat drunk, happy,
Tiger at +250 to win the tournament after round 2. Any opinions on this one?
still not 100% going to fire on him to win yet......I'd rather have him in the lead or share the lead or in the final group and lay a little.
