Transitions Championship Tournament Matchups
Blairr, our new golf handicapping contact, absolutely you can give us some insights! Much appreciated! Observe the players on the range hitting mid to long irons and woods. If you notice a player really struggling like continuously pushing or pulling shots off line, it could be a strong go against if we find the right matchup. The thickness of the rough, first cut, second cut etc....also local weather is soooo much better than any other forecasts. thanks again blairr!
Sounds like a plan, Alf. I won't be there for the tournament itself,I'll be back here in Vegas, but I'll pick up what I can. Can't wait to see the place! Blair
Adam Scott has come alive unfortunately...and in a big way.
Blairr give us a report that Tuesday night if you can, Wed morning at the latest. The info is more valuable before the tournament not during where we can see and get plenty from the ESPN/CBS/Golf Channel/Media coverage. Thanks again!
alf, looking at any daily matchups for the weekend? anyone you would fade?

I think you split minus the juice on Molder correct? Both bets decided by the cut I believe.
Just got back from the course after dinner. I have a few observations from my day: 1.) I have been going to this tournament in Palm Harbor for years. The best player I have ever seen stripe the ball at this course was B. Baird. I stress stripe it. Today two guys stood out. R. Fisher and Cejka. I look for these two guys to continue especially Fisher (-6/32) 2.) If you haven't seen this course it is a fuckin bitch. Lots of odd angles, elevated greens, tight in spots. Weird spots that if you are not familiar with, spells trouble. You can't guess your way around it. I look for Paddy, A. Scott, and Goosen to come back to Earth this weekend. Take it with a grain of salt boys.
ps - weather here has been bad for us, for almost two months. Today was San Diego weather and tomorrow will be the exact same. There will be almost no wind effect at this course unless things pull a u-turn. Wind of around 12-15 mph used to absolutely kill the ball here in the valleys but should not be a problem tomorrow. Tomorrow will be striper heaven
Thanks TCO! Good info. Did you notice anyone that made the cut not striping it well? NYdoc, I just finished watching the coverage and have looked at the third round matchups and nothing has caught my attention.
