Is the "edge" gone?
daily matchups are really tough to beat. The edge is nowhere near what the tourneys are.
Or is it just an oddball year. The match play tourny I usually end up like 15-3. This year was other way around. Forget the US open, If tiger makes putt on last hole I would have lost over 5 digits. I also had d johnson for $250 to win with 3 stroke lead as my get even Golf bet of the tourny. Sat down with my oldest son to watch 18 holes-we went to pool after the second hole. But the question, Is the edge gone?

You are correct the match play edge is greater. 2) To answer your question, the edge is not gone. IMO, it is just smaller when comparing an 18 hole contest vs a 72 hole contest. BUT... If you watch golf, often times you can pick up something or some tidbit of info about a player during the round that could help you the following day.
