Ufc 119

I just got in guys. The crowd absolutely HATED this decision as did Dana White. It was 29-28 Dunham in my view. I think the judges bought into Dunham's cut and looked at him and felt he got beat up but he didn't. Dunham is a future title contender and he got fucked. Sherk didn't deserve to be booed, but I think it was more of the decision being booed. Crowd LOVED Lytle and was hardcore into the Mitrione-Beltran fight and the McCorkle-Hunt, Dunham-Sherk fights. They pissed all over the Stephens-Guillard fight which was terrible live and the CroCop-Mir until the KO in the 3rd. Mir got the most boos in intros. Lytle the most cheers. CroCop and Mitrione second most. No one knew who Dunham was but he was big-time over after the fight. Celebs at the fight: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Mellencamp, Jerry Ferrara (Turtle from "Entourage") and a few fighters (Matt Hughes, Jon Fitch, and others). Plenty of Indiana Pacers were there, but none of them are big enough stars to be on the jumbotron.
thanks for the live feedback Shooter! Dana needs to look at the numbers with these non-title potential boring fights. UFC 120 Bisping vs Akiyama, seriously? Who is going to pay for that mess? Sure, we will as cappers, but I think they are pushing the public too hard.....UFC needs to put a couple of decent cards on Spike. They shouldn't pay Melvin and Stephens, that was 3 rounds of non contact.
Bisping-Akiyama will draw better at the gate in London b/c of Bisping. This was an OK show with an OK crowd. It was a throwaway show, but it wasn't the worst UFC ever like one MMA site is saying. The bad judging ruined the show and it wasn't local guys either, it was Cecil Peoples and Glenn Trowbridge. The Anaheim show with Brock will draw huge b/c well it's Brock Lesnar and he draws PPV buys. Only Brock and GSP are megadraws against anyone. Certain guys can draw with each other (i.e. Rampage-Rashad Evans). They rightfully want to grow the sport, but they can't run too many shows. The international shows are fine b/c they draw OK at the gate, but not on PPV. The Detroit show in November will draw as well with Rampage-Machida and Penn-Hughes III.
