UFC 128 Shogun vs. Jones

Well, only if they were all that easy...Jon Jones will be -500 next fight
Well, only if they were all that easy...Jon Jones will be -500 next fight
At better then +400 I'll take Evans. Me and a friend went through the top 10 at LHW and the only guy that has a chance against Jones is Evans. Jones is just so big and quick that fighting him has to be a nightmare. Jones won't be able to cut to 205 forever. Until he has to go to HW he isn't likely to lose anytime soon. Hell, Dana might change the system and make a new weight class at 230 or so just to milk that cash cow.
Rua needs to cut to 185 which shouldn't even be all that hard to do looking at that flabby body. I still think he's Top 3 or 4 at LHW. Really he has no reason to cut down, I don't think he'd beat Silva either.
Looks like its par for the course there but NJ suspended a whole slew of fighters including Jones for 60-90 days pending x-rays, mris etc.

Places that still don't allow MMA need to see that it really isn't a dangerous sport. Boxing, my first love, is far more dangerous to the fighters. A MMA fighter doesn't take the number of punches that a boxer does. Boxer's in general punch A LOT harder then MMA guys as well.
