Ufc 132

Ufc 132 Dennis Siver -105 vs. Matt Wiman Wiman is a decent striker but has fought weak competition. Siver impressed the heck out of me beating George Sotiropoulos not enabling one takedown. Siver is by far the stronger fighter and has knock-out power in either hand. He was as high as -130 and now a pickem? Chris Leiben +165 vs. Wanderlei Silva Silva hasn't fought in 14 months. Why? He has been a business man opening up UFC gyms with the Nogueira brothers all over the world and his fighting matches are perhaps not as important. Plus IMO he can only win this fight via submission or a decision, we'll give Leiben credit/edge in determination and the KO with ground and pound. This line has climbed steadily the past two days Silva was -150, now -180 and I believe it is all the anti Leiben bettors, which of course I was one of them, but you have to handicap each match as it comes along and I think in this spot given the layoff etc, Leiben is very live.
Rumour has it Siver has been cutting weight late and that is the main reason for the line movement. He looked good at the weigh-in...
Cutting weight, even very close to the event, isn't that big a deal. Most are accustomed to it and for some it would take them out of their element if they didn't have to do it.
The weight cut can be a big issue if not done correctly. I think Siver was gassing in his last fight and I attribute it to his struggles with cutting weight. That being said, I still think that Siver is the better fight and should win the fight. I'm in Vegas, and have not been able to do all the preparation necessary for the UFC. I parlayed Bowles and Guillard I bet Cruz a month ago at =120 I bet on Kim as well. I will be at the Palazzo with my wife, and will be looking to add a few bets. GL Not likely to post anything else as I have struggled getting on the board from my droid so far.

Siver was very lucky to win. Wiman will lose sleep over this decision...
Sweep em if U got em. Well done.
Alf- U Da Man!!
Alf and Truushot- I watched the Cruz fight, thought it could have gone either way- couldn't believe first judge had it 50-45. What did you guys think?
Horrendous decision on Siver, but turns out to be the side to be on. Great call on Leben. Tru's parlay was gold. Good night on results. I thought Cruz deserved the decision, but line was too high his way. I was on Faber.
The judges need to be tested before entering the arena! Brutal... I had Cruz winning 48-47, tough fight to score because neither dominated the fight. Can't wait to bet against Tito next fight.
