Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle The main event features 29 year old Hardy who had a 7 fight win streak before his current 3 losses in a row to St. Pierre, Conduit and Anthony Johnson. His back is against the wall versus capable 37 year old veteran of over 50 fights Lytle who after 4 wins in a row is coming off a loss to Brian Ebersole when he reportedly was less than 100% with a knee injury. Hardy's weakness has been staying off his back in his last 3 matches. His take defense has been put to the test and he hasn't faired well. Lytle has 21 of 30 victories via submission, but of late he has preferred to stand and blast with his opponent versus take it to the mat and go for a submission. Lytle who is getting a little long in the tooth, still an exciting fighter to watch has had many a battle over his career coupled with MMA being a part time job for this Indianapolis firefighter who now is talking about politics. Not sure how he has recovered from his knee injury. On MMAjunkie when asked if he would take fight to ground where he has the definite advanatge, he basically said that is not his gameplan. This won't be a popular pick but I am leaning towards the younger Hardy who's UFC career is likely on the line in this fight. Hardy to win. Jim Miller vs. Benson Henderson This could easily have been the main event and should be an entertaining match up. All Ben Henderson's fights are exciting to watch. As the odds show, this is going to be a close fight. Too tough for me to call and I am going to pass and just enjoy watching this one. No bet. Donald Cerrone vs. Charles Oliveira Another matchup that should bring fireworks. You have the bigger, stronger and battle tested Cerrone versus the quicker and enteratining Oliveria. In a close match I see the slight underdog Cerrone pulling out the victory. Cerrone to win. Other bets: Amir Sadollah to win. Joseph Benavidez to win. Kyle Noke to win. Karlos Vemola to win.
