Usga : Total losers, this is a joke

Usga : Total losers, this is a joke SURELY, when the rains come, you MUST have a contingency plan to put pins in the hardest spots, and make them play from the tips. THIS LAYOUT SUCKS......
Couldn't agree more. The U.S. Open should NEVER feature a blowout win. No winner has gone lower than -4 since Jim Furyk went -8 in 2003. McEIlroy has been awesome, but this has been a big disappointment overall.
In all seriousness they need to make these courses 8000 yards to tame this technology we have now. I mean on a 480yd par 4, they hit driver, 7 iron or shorter...crazy.
This is true about the distance but when they bend there 7I to a 5I I could hit a 7I 190 too. Rather see birdies then stuggling to make a par all day. Masters is much better last few years for that reason.

You can see guys shoot -15 all season long.
Watching guys hit driver 9 iron or wedge is very boring IMO. I want to see them tested.
For a U.S. Open, the rough didn't seem to be like much of a factor.

I could care less about watching Kobe v LeBron run thru a lay-up line.... I want to see them in tough situations, tested, see their full arsenal of skills... while the crowd cheered, it was pretty lame for a guy w/ average/slightly less than avg interest like me.
