Valero Open Golf at San Antonio Hopefully Johnboy has something this week. He showed a profit last week and that Furyk bet was really solid. I do have a bet for you if anyone has Bodog. But they have Bud Cauley at -115 over Ryan Palmer. Pinnacle is -141 on it so it is a big scalp. My account at Bodog doesn't get the really loopy lines and I'm not even sure for golf they have multiple lines so it should be available. I can't say I'm handicapping this but Cauley has had a good year and I have to presume sharp money is on the play on Cauley. On my own I threw a bet on JB Holmes over KJ Choi. Choi getting alot of respect here for a guy who has had a disastrous season. I think he is matched up with Na and Holmes on alot of boards and the money starting to finally go against Choi now. Not sure if the oddsmaker was expecting public support for Choi since he's a known name at the Valero but I think either of these other guys has to be clearly favoured over Choi. I might even say to -150 for Na (4 top 10's this year most on the tour I think) and probably less for Holmes. Holmes 2 top 10's this year and in the top 15 here last year. No slam dunk Choi obviously a good golfer could bust out....but we're just playing the odds. I'm sure at +150 I'd want Choi. I didn't bet it but I see Na is a big price as a dog against Kuchar. He's +158 there. If one doesn't like Cauley maybe Weekley against him is good. Weekely is pretty good dog price against Cauley. Those are just ideas. I went for a trendy pick and took a small amount on Harris English (never seen the guy) to win the tournament. He's playing well looks like he can drive and putt and trending up.
