Valero Texas Open and Malayasian Open

Valero Texas Open and Malayasian Open Just like the Tour players we are on a bit of a let down after the first major of the year. It gives me a chance to go over the first quarter of the season, update my database and look forward to the next majors and the Players Championship in May. Although there is a very good number of matchups this week, I played only a couple. Martin Laird -130 vs Bo Van Pelt Laird tees it up every week and has the tools to win on any given track. He'll like TPC San Antonio which allows for plenty of room off the tee. Bo gave it everything he had at the Masters, eagled 13 and 15 on Sunday and with three holes to play was a shot out of the lead. He is not nearly as consistent as Laird and his mind set has to be on his chance of a lifetime last week = advantage Laird. Martin Kaymer -120 vs Charl Schwartzel As much as I despise Kaymer I think he will come to play this week back in the easier fields of the Euro Tour and protect his dwindling World No. #1 ranking. But, obviously this is a bet against last week's previous winner. If Schwartzel misses the cut he'll still be smiling.
well this is one of my favorite courses, and we bet 10 matchups but they have almost all been hammered into place. 2 acorns left (0.5% plays) 7009 Freddy Yack +100 (+109 pinny and friends) vs Jonnie Send em 7030 Bo (I'm back) Van Pelt -130 vs Marcus Leechman. Good Luck
also note if you can find.... 7028) Surfer Charlie "waste management" Hoffman -116 (pinny and clones) vs Lil Brian Gay. This is a 0.75% play at this price. At -125, I would make it 0.4%. GLuck
3 stroke lead with Freddy Yack. 4 stroke lead with "Dumpster Dave/Waste Management" Hoffman. 25mph+ winds tomorrow, wiffle ball golfer Gay should be in a bind in the Texas Hill Country. Good Luck
