Viloria vs Miranda (7/16) This is for the WBo Flyweight belt. Miranda the former champion travels to Hawaii to take on hometown guy Viloria. Miranda is a bit bigger then Viloria and has consistently fought the better competition. Viloria has one very good win against Solis a few years back. Viloria is the slicker boxer and will likely use good movement early in the fight. I think tha Miranda has the heavier hands and will eventually get to Viloria's body and slow him down. This is a very close fight. Viloria may find the stamina to last, but he has faded late in fights. I give the edge to Miranda as he has legit power and will eventually grind down Viloria by late stoppage or by winning the late rounds to get the decision. Cortez is the referee so it should be a fair scrap. I bet this two ways. -135 to win 1 unit Miranda -200 to win 1 unit on the OVER 8.5 GL

Over was an easy winner as it went the distance. I think we just got beat by a hometown decision on the result. I missed the first few rounds and even giving everyone of them to Viloria, I had it at worst a draw. Miranda simply outworked and outlanded him in all but 1 or 2 rounds over the last 7. It was a wide decision for Viloria with one judge having Viloria winning virtually every round. I cannot figure out the scoring as the scores read where for a 10 round fight and this was a 12 round fight. I'll figure it out later.
