What Morons built this track? And how could not one person involved in the sport say "hey, wait a minute, I think metal fkin poles might be a small problem?" https://deadspin.com/5470705/horrific...rs-opening-day
Wow...have you guys seen the video? It's easy to criticize in hindsight but WOW what were they thinking?
You could probably just put a huge sheet of plywood across those poles and it would have saved the guy's life. Maybe even something a little more sophisticated in the better part of a decade they had to design the track.

https://deadspin.com/5470705/horrific...rs-opening-day
I guess they forgot to put the metal spikes on the poles also. That's unforgivable. How could anyone be so stupid? 90 mph headfirst right into a metal pole that didn't move an inch. I just saw the video. He didn't have a chance. A gigantic lawsuit against someone(s) in this case would easily be justified.

dude going way to fast, poles should have had some protection but come on he had been down it before he pushed the limit and the limit won. God bless his family and loved ones

They spent around 85 million to build the track but couldn't figure out you need high walls after a sharp turn?
coming of the bank it slings them right at the structure columns, I hope this is the last we hear of anyone leaving the track, they are shorting it for the rest of the competion.

Cold-blooded murderers deserve to die, corporate greed-mongers who put profits in front of human life deserve to die, and that rude bitch of a manager that had me thrown out of Chase bank on Friday because I complained about corporate greed in the teller line deserves to die. I swear, I got thrown out of my own bank last week for talking about Chase bank's greed. It's almost funny now that I think about it.
