Will They Make the Sweet 16 ?

Will They Make the Sweet 16 ? This series of props should go up Tuesday. LVH, Will Hill and hopefully some others will have them up. There are a few teams that are high seeds that look like they have a tough path to get there. Will be interested in the NO prices on Wichita St, St Louis, North Carolina, UCLA and the YES prices on Wisconsin, N Dakota St, Gonzaga, Syracuse and Louisville.
Based on what I've seen for regional odds, would need -425 on Louisville to make a bet on Sweet Sixteen. Louisville is getting bet down to win NCAA. Opened 15-1 at LVH and 5Dimes and now as low as +550, At 15-1 there is value but it's very draw dependent as to how much value. You could be a little wrong or a lot right on them. If there is an upset elsewhere that offers them up an easier game then everyone anticipates then you should be in a very strong position come the late rounds.
UMass is quite the enigma. Seeded #6 in the Midwest, here are the odds to win that region for UMass and their two potential opponents who will take the court in the play-in game on Wed night. keeping in mind that they have to play this additional game, it is very telling what the experts think of UMass not only in the region, but in their potential first round match-up vs either Iowa or Tennessee. 5Dimes Odds to win the MidWest: Tennessee +2000 Iowa +3000 U Mass +11000 Clearly, and with an extra game to play, Iowa and Tennessee are a fraction of the odds that UMass is. They would have the same path PLUS the additional game vs each other and still are huge favorites vs UMass to advance that far. What does that say about the probable line on UMass vs either one? It says they should be a dog vs the play-in team. That would make a #6 team an underdog, the highest seed in the first round to not be favored. Even if you double these odds and add a little (in order to completely discount the play-in game which is close to PK) on Iowa and Tenn you'd still be 25%-35% lower than UMass. The lines makers like Tenn and Iowa more either way and if the line opens PK or Umass a favorite, expect the action to be one way early, especially with the opponent coming off what was most likely a strong performance in the play-in game.
