Wimbledon Rd 2

Wimbledon Rd 2 Rd 2 4:00am PST T De Bakker -170 vs John Isner Ok, heavy price here on T De Bakker (the touchdown maker) who probably would be +150 if not for the 200 games that Isner has played in the past two days. Not buying that Isner can or will hold his serve. His serve on Day 3 was not back up to speed. (125 mph+) Not buying that he is in great shape and can withstand back-2-back marathons. The guy is 6 feet 9 inches, something is going to break down. We'll never get a senario like this again, no brainer.
Good luck. I think the price is far to high. 15 hours off. Played 1 hour. Remainder of the day off. Basically Isner played back to back 5 hour matches then 1 hour the next day. I know that Isner is out of shape, I just don't think he's that big of a dog against a young player with one win against a top 10 player and who's best surface is clay. Isner's game never relied on movement. Then again, what the hell do I know?
I have found +160 but will wait for +180. But similarly, what do I know? :) His opponent won his fifth set 16-14, for what that's worth.
Yes, we don't know the first thing about Bakker, but Mahut was an also ran. He had to go through 3 pre-qualifying stages and then Mahut only qualified for Wimbledon after winning a qualifying match in a 24-22 final set. How interesting. We should have bet the "Over" with this info. Day 2 was 7 hours and 6 minutes, not 5 hours, and will leave them both physically exhausted/dammaged for weeks to come IMO. Still think this is a very good bet. As Federer said, "there are no easy matches anymore."

Like taking candy from a baby - nice call Alf. We should have hit the under in retrospect as well.
We'll never get a senario like this again, no brainer.
Duly noted! I learn so much here, and this one was a great lesson. When two of my outs had this OTB, that should have been my first clue that it was the right side.
Thanks Alf! Great call
We should have bet the 1st set at -120 and any and all sets betting as well. We may never get/find another tennis wager like this one. Glad to hear those of you that jumped on board enjoyed it as much as I did.
