WSOP Main Event - final table prop (yes, i'm serious)

WSOP Main Event - final table prop (yes, i'm serious) @ Cantor: #7204 Russell Thomas +600 I'll preface this by admitting that i only took this prop because i wanted to have a sweat, but with that being said, i don't consider this a bad play at all. Thomas is a good player who is sitting "almost" second in chip (just barely behind Koroknai and Merson), and has been getting full-time live-in training by top tournament pro Jason Somerville (yeah i know, insert joke here) for the last month or so. Good value (or at least fair value) on this guy, i think. PS - Last year i had Ben Lamb @ 6/1, only to watch him make the final 3 players with a decent-sized stack and then punt it away by going all-in preflop with KJ offsuit for no apparent reason. He ended up in a coin-flip for the chip lead when Stasko called with pocket 7's, but he bricked out and that was that. Hopefully a better result this year, lol.
He only holds a little over 1/8 the chips in play. Think theres really enough dead money at the final table to justify 6:1 ?
There's certainly some, yes. Not saying he's a big overlay, but I do think it's a workable price and I just wanted to have a little action on it. Definitely watching on tv today, so it makes it a lot more fun. FWIW, I think Merson is the best player, and I'd probably be rooting for him otherwise.
Thomas out in 4th. He doubled up early with pocket queens, but never really saw a hand after that. Merson has looked great (while conversely getting a lot of good hands), and looks like a big favorite to win now with a solid chip lead 3-handed.
