Has anyone tried this!!???  I plan to do it in July.

I did and I was given the chip.

My wife and I did this in April and it worked. We said "Hi Matthew" and "Richard Wilkes". We each got a $25 match play. 

So Richard Wilk worked at the Circa too?  I wonder if you would have both said both names if they would give you two match play tokens?

Worked at the D too. I got a voucher at the D but the Golden Gate awards pristeen, oversized match play chips in green and black if  you show a recent boarding pass. Works for each trip.

A $25 match play chip is worth approximately $12, so that's definitely worth doing. That might pay for a doughnut on the Strip! (without sprinkles)
