I love Bingo but I have never played in one of these big events (just the normal daily games).
I was thinking of maybe trying this one out at the Gold Coast (Sunday, October 9th) which is just a single day event with 25 $1,000 games. It is not a linked game so I would just be competing with the 720 maximum players that the Gold Coast Bingo Hall will hold (assuming it sells out).
Cost is $50 for one 6-on pack, plus $10 for any additional packs you may wish to purchase (20 pack maximum).
My biggest question about these events is how many additional packs should I buy? Do most people purchase the maximum of twenty, or is it more like 10 ($150 spend)?
I am thinking of actually going the other way and just playing the $50 minimum while enjoying a few free drinks and chatting with a freind I am meeting up with from Chicago.
