3,5,7 VP Machine

I have seen the Wizards writeup on the table version but does anyone have an info or strategies on the machine version of the game.  I looked online and looked through this forum and I could see anything

I believe playing 3/5 lines (never have seen 7 line) does not call for change in strategy.  Whichever game you choose, you play a multiline game as if it were single line (which you start out with anyway), using the appropriate strategy for that particular game.

Candy

Candy - you are absolutely correct. The strategy does not change.

Hi.  Thanks for your responses but the with the fact that one receives an extra 2 cards to normal VP, does one chase straights more than normal EG you are playing JoB and you are  dealt  K and unsuited 9765 .  Normally I would hold the K but now do I hold the 9765  as I have 4 chances of getting an 8??

This article gives the same info as the Wizard of Odds. https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/2015/02/17/casino-questions-answers/23597031/

I can't say that I've ever seen the game in Las Vegas or Laughlin. I only play 9/6 JoB or 8/5 BP, though, so the game may be around.

I saw the game at the Orleans about 15 years ago. It might still be available somewhere in Vegas.

The table game version has a high house edge, so I doubt that the VP version is worth playing.

just to be clear, we are talking about a single line game.  With a payout for a 3 card poker hand, a payout for a 5 card draw hand and a payout for a 7 card stud hand.  Is this correct ?

This sounds very similar to 3-Way Action video poker which 5-5-7 not 3-5-7. I've seen many machines at Gold Coast and other off-strip casinos. The Wizard of Odds page: https://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/tables/three-way-action/

Thankyou for the link but the table game structure and payouts are not quite the same as the machine version  There is a bank of these machines at South Point.  BRENT ..  let me get back to you.  I will get the paytable for each of the 3 hands

I went to South Point today and I saw the machines are called 3 Way Action !!  Ergo, I found this link  https://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/tables/three-way-action/#:~:text=3%2DWay%20Action%20is%20a,cards%20from%20the%20remaining%20deck.
