3 Card Poker - What are the odds?

I know somebody who was in Vegas last weekend for the first time and he had a great time. This guy likes to play 3 card poker and during his trip, he was dealt 6 straight flushes. What is amazing is he was dealt two at the Monte Carlo in less than 15 minutes and it was the same three cards each time. I wonder what the odds are of that happening?

Probably very long odds. LOL

The closest I have come to 2 straight flushes in a row was on my one and only trip to Laughlin some years back.

I was betting quarters at MGM (their max bet)
and got 2-3-4 of diamonds.

On the very next hand with a new dealer I
got 2-3-5 of diamonds.

Anyway, I got a relief laugh from the PB. LOL

6 straight flushes? I need to dream about that
tonight and rub my Genie Lamp.

I was playing $15.00 table @ Ball's AC when the guy to my right got back to back straight flushes.
we know they play that game w/ 2 different decks- what are the odds of that?? but I saw it happen.

Once at Bellagio I sat down at a table full except for the first position that I took.
When the dealer changed my bill I asked him politely for a straight flush (please)
yep, first hand 2/3/4 of spades.
That table hated me.
I played one more hand, cashed in and hit $1,500 on the first $5.00 machine i played- first hand.
couldn't lose that day...

I introduced a friend to this game a few years ago at the Sands in AC.
About twenty hands in, he hit a SF. I said we should quit but he wouldn't hear of it. Instead he went to two hands. Within ten minutes, he was dealt three Kings in one hand, and another SF in the other. 'Now, we quit', he loudly proclaimed and he headed over to the Trop to puruse the working girls.

I love 3 card. I was playing at Bellagio last summer and hit 3 of a kind 3 times in a row, then five hands later got a straight flush, quit and smiled the rest of the trip.

John and I were staying at the Westward Ho. One evening John gave me a booklet on how to play 3-card poker. It was getting late. John said he was heading to bed. I told him I had to jump over to the casino and get a straight flush on 3 card. He laughed. It took me less then 15 minutes. I cashed out.
Joined John in bed and said "I did it". Just had to try it out, I really haven't played it too much since.
