$3 craps at RIO

I played craps at the RIO last night.    $10 table with good field bet.    Fun time.

they have a big advertisement in the casino which says $3 craps from 3:00 AM to 300 PM.   If you are new to the game this is a great way to try different bets and strategies.

The table was full at 5:30 am on Monday morning.😁

It looks like the Rio is making an actual effort to attract business. Now, all they have to do is lower their insane food prices. Go down the hall to the Ipanema Tower, and on your left will be the opportunity to pay $15 for a donut and a small coffee (Starbucks) or $53 for a bowl of noodles (Korea Whatsit).

I did have a pretty good burger, fries, and beer at Luckley's; since it was happy hour, it was "only" $31, lol!

Oblect lesson for The Gouge? What's better, a full $3 table or an empty $15 table???

I went over there today and it's legit.   Some kid was learning how to play and held the dice for about 30 rolls.    I walked away with $500.   I was pissed because I was low rolling.  If I bought in with my usual amount I would have made 2k.

play is slow because there is a lot of tutoring going on.   But it's still a good time.  I haven't seen a $3 table since Jokers Wild in Henderson had it bout 10 years ago.

Don't do that to yourself, PJ. A win is a win. And no angel perched on your shoulder and told you that it would be a hot roll.

Long ago, I introduced my girlfriend to craps, and when she got the dice, she came out with a 9, and some high roller type covered all the hard ways for $50 each. She hit each of them, then again, and again, as the guy pressed his bets. He began throwing her a green chip every time she hit a hard way. She never did make her point, but when she sevened out, she had eighteen green chips in her rack. I then woke up and realized that I had been simply watching the whole show, not betting...

"This game is fun!" she said afterward.

A couple years ago I had a cheesesteak sandwich that I would describe as somewhat edible. Beef was dry. Bun was starting to stale. I think it was like 20 bucks

What odds are they dealing?
Thanks
