$5 Pai Gow Poker?

Does $5 Pai Gow poker exist anywhere in Vegas?

I know of $10 being about as low you can expect for that game. Yet, $5 would be paradise for us.

Pai Gow poker is a great table game when you just want to unwind, and relax for a break, while getting free drinks.

The down side to this game for us, (no insult meant to anyone here), is that it gets boring after about an hour of play, for nothing really happens.

We learned how to play this game in Biloxi, and the dealer at the table says this is the game she plays when she goes to the Casino, for you will not lose alot, or win much either. Just a good game to play, chat, have fun, and get drunk on the Casino's dime.

I used to like to play $5 pai-gow poker at the Sahara before it closed last year, not aware of anyplace else on the strip that has it below $10 although you might be able to find it at one of the low-end places on the North Strip like the Stratosphere, Riviera, Circus Circus, or Palace Station.

Downtown has lots of $5 pai-gow tables, the El Cortez always seems to have a $5 game even on Saturday night which can make it hard to find a seat.
I've played $5 Pai Gow at the Orleans and at Suncoast.

Southpoint had $5 in January when we were there. During slow times

I was hoping to hear this, since we will be playing at the Orleans for one night.

Wifey does not like to bounce around casino's at night. She's happy staying put in one place per night. The only exception is when we are downtown, for the places are right next to each other, then she likes to bounce around.

Now if the Gold Coast has $5 Pai Gow, then we good for 3 of our 5 nights!

Anyone know what the Gold Coast has?

Last August, while splitting 4 days between the Orleans and the Gold Coast, I noticed $5.00 tables at both consistenty!

All I can say is......

Thank you, Thank you. and .....

Thank you!

I'm A VP bartop Slut.

I can't afford to play table games.

Yet, I need a mental break from VP, and have some fun.

Only in Vegas and Biloxi can I do Pia Gow Poker and 3 card poker, at low insaine limits.

VP in Vegas is special....

But I just loveeeeeeeeeeeeee

$5 dollar 3 card poker and $5 Pia Gow...... awaits in Vegas

Yet, from my other post.... Vegas is TOO far away, for we are not in the double digits yet!

Always at El Cortez and during slow periods at Binions

That does not sound too good for us...

Opps.... Lets make this right..

We are 25c VP players

It is a big jump to go to $5 Tables..

Sounds like it is going to be difficuilt to find $5 Three Card Poker, for we always do the sucker bet of the Pair Plus bet..

We know, the Pair Plus bet is the worst at 7.2% house advantange.

But we are short term gambling in Vegas, so it is OK to do this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We cannot afford to do a $10 table of 3 card Poker...

For it double...

Does the 4Q do $5 Three Card Poker?

nmterlv....I am comfortable in saying that if you play quarter vp max per hand ($1.25 per hand) you will play 4 hands a lot quicker ($5.00) than you will play 1 hand of $5.00 poker. Heck in the time it takes the dealer to deal a hand of Pai Gow, you will have played more than 4 hands of vp. Add in the time for setting your hand.....others setting their hands.....the dealer flopping his hand.....the dealer collecting lost wagers.. paying winning wagers.....etc.etc. You would probably 20-30 hands ($25.00 - $37.50) of VP in the time it would take to play 1 complete hand of Paigow.

Just thought that I'd share that with you since paigow and vp are the only 2 things that I play on the casino floor (along with low limit hold em in the poker rooms)
