Am I the only goofball.......

..... who actually misses those silly gambling machines,  not even sure what they're called,  but they were usually either quarter or dollar coin machines,  and you would drop quarters or dollars into them,  attempting to either sweep more coins over the edge and into the win slots or sometimes has spinning things that would toss the coins around and try to shove them over the edge that way.   Totally mindless but still more fun than a standard slot machine:)

Oh yeah, those always had a following. I'm pretty sure they were called Flip It. I remember reading that what eventually took them out of service was a lack of replacement parts when the company stopped making them; one problem was that the machines had so many moving parts, they needed constant maintenance.
