Amazing Online VP Hand

I'm playing in my first online VP tournament, a free one offered by Atlantis Casino in Reno, running from July 12-22. The format is Double STP Triple Play DDB, 200 deals a session. The top 10 overall scores get prizes, as does each day's high score and a winner chosen randomly each day from those submitting a score of at least 4,000. If your score is less than 4,000 you can play again the same day. The prizes are 2- night stays at Atlantis, and the top prizes also include some Free Play.

The verbage from Atlantis says the multiplier will come up, on average, once in 8 hands. The leading score is just over 243,000 credits; way, way back in 2nd is 51,790. One can click on the leaders' scores to see their 2 or 3 best hands, so I did. He (or she) was dealt a royal in hearts, got a 10X multiplier on the deal and another 10X multiplier on the draw (of course no cards were drawn).

I believe the chance of a dealt royal is about 1 in 643,000. Now I think the 10X multiplier doesn't come up as frequently as the other 5, but let's say all 6 have an equal chance. Then the odds on this are
1/643,000 times 1/48 times 1/48 (whew, i need a calculator).

Jack, I'm playing (losing) in that tourney as well. You notice that without that big hit, that player only racked up 3,000 points which is crumbs.

(Also, I have yet to get the 2nd multiplier when I've held all 5 cards. I must be doing something wrong!)
