Anyone been to Treasure Bay in Biloxi MS lately?

Hi, folks.  We're finally thinking about getting back to Biloxi, it's been a long time.  We used to like playing at Treasure Bay, a couple of miles west of town.  Has anyone been there recently?  They used to have lots of 8/5 BP for 50c and $1; the vpFree2 listing is pretty old at this point.  Anyone know anything?  Thanks!

I’m happy to report the 50-cent 8/5 BP you describe are still there at Treasure Bay. Not sure of the slant tops on the 2nd floor but the first floor bartops on the west end of the casino are all good as are most of the bartops on the 2nd floor. Not sure of $1 but I think they are still there.

We live down here so I get there every couple of weeks. Food comps are easy there (The Den on the top floor has nice views and good food).

I have a warm spot in my heart for Treasure Bay. Twenty years ago before Katrina when TB was a pirate ship on the coast, I got my first ever RF there.

Schuvy, thanks so much for the info, this is super helpful. We're in St Pete FL; we used to get to Biloxi every year or two, back when many properties had cheap air/transfer/hotel packages; now it's only the Beau Rivage, and the packages are expensive unless you have a lot of play with MGM (we don't; we play exclusively off-strip and downtown in Vegas, and the VP at the Beau isn't good).  We finally got to Treasure Bay a few trips ago, really enjoyed the gambling, the vibe and the buffet, stayed there on our last trip (Delta through Atlanta, real pain).  So, I think we'll start planning for after the first of the year; best option now is probably Breeze, they have two flights per week from Tampa to Gulfport; other option would be to drive (about 9.5 hours, haven't done that in decades).  Thanks a million for your help!

Bumping up this thread; Schuvy, I hope you're still here.

So, we've decided to go to Biloxi and will stay at Treasure Bay, probably in May.  Flight times aren't good, so wife has agreed to drive (we'll probably do it in two days, it's about a 9hr drive and I have time on my hands).  Do they still have lots of 8/5 BP?  50c and $1, right?  Does anyone know about BJ conditions (minimums, number of decks, rules)?  Any suggestions for talking to a host?  Any idea of what it takes to get the room comped?  How about the buffet?  Any other advice?

Thanks in advance!

You want any tips on un-casino things to do there? I visited in Jan 2025 and found lots of really interesting places to go. I was originally going to play some VP, but there wasn't much worth playing. So I checked the area out. More things to see than I expected.

When you earn 10 points on Tuesdays or Thursdays, Treasue Bay gives you half off breakfast or lunch buffet and 2X or 3X points for the whole day. The 3X makes the 8/5 BP games almost break even.  The blackjack game might be the best on the coast with 2D, S17, and $10 or $15 minimum. Also, Fridays 5-7 PM is 'happy hour' with 2X points  for everyone including VP. Rooms are OK, but not as good as other area casino hotels. You can see your comp balance on the kiosk. Good mailers will come for a long time for significant action.

Thanks, Mike, this is super helpful, I appreciate it.  Good to get confirmation that they still have the 8.5 BP (50c and $1, right?).  The BJ, is DAS allowed?  We're planning to be there Mon-Thurs, so we'll miss the Friday Happy Hour.  The Tuesday and Thursday point multiplier, is that just for slots?

Our last stay there was back in 2017, the rooms were fine by us, reasonably clean and in good repair, that's good enough for us.  We've stayed at the Beau a bunch of times, back when their air packages were a good deal, but they don't have any playable VP anymore and the air packages are pretty expensive now if you don't have significant MGM play (which we don't).

Thanks again for all the great information.  Kevin, I'd be interested in non-casino things to do, also any local restaurants that you like.  We like the TB buffet, but their other restaurants have left a lot to be desired.

50 cent and $1 BP are available. 2X and 3X multipliers apply to slots AND VP. You redeem multiplied points the next day in free play. DAS allowed at blackjack. Good luck!

My experience was that you have to get the hell away from the casino area to get good food. Once you do that, pick the scruffiest looking dive in the crummiest little town you can find. Driving east toward Mobile, you'll go through coastal settlements (take the coastal highway, NOT the interstate(. West toward Lake Charles works, too.

I don't want to recommend any specific restaurant, because it's been a while. But dear God, Cajun/Creole seafood is amazing. I also found a couple of great BBQ joints. You can get boudin in lots of places. Also po boys. Oyster po boys--mmm.

Two experiences that are about an hour away are the Mobile Bay boat ride to Fort Morgan "Damn the torpedoes!" and the trip north on The River Road past all the well-preserved plantations. You can book tours. and for me, it was kind of a surreal experience seeing these beautifully kept mansions and grounds on what were essentially prison camps.

Biloxi itself has a touristy but very nice waterfront and beach with all the usual beachy stuff. Again, I wouldn't eat there, but it's definitely worth a stroll.

Thanks, Mike, and Thanks, Kevin!
