The four slant tops that were against wall to the left of keno lounge, are now against wall right of the bathrooms near the gift shop.
These machines have returns as high as 99.96%.

This would be about the fifteenth time they've moved those machines. A few years ago, they occupied a position near the north entrance and had .25 FPDW on them. They were occupied day and night by locals. One sad day, a couple or three years ago, they were downgraded. At that time, those were the last FPDW machines in existence--anywhere. We'll never see that game again

When I was there last month, one machine was out of order and the other 3 had players who wre camped out on the 3 for hours.
That place might get the award for smokiest casino in Vegas. They dont have any games there worth putting up with that. That neighborhood isnt the best either. I feel like their security is lacking. Jerry's Nugget is in a bad neighborhood too but they have lots of cameras and security guards walking around.

I agree with you insofar as visiting is concerned, but I think their security is adequate. What helps is that the property is flanked by three parking lots, all of which are security and camera monitored. You can't just walk in off the sidewalk.
I had a fairly long term playing relationship with that casino, but when they removed almost all the playable machines and zero-pointed the good ones, I said no mas

Kevin, just to confirm: Are you saying that the 9/6 JoB and APDW machines give no points? What about the 8/5 BP machines?
I don't play any games that bad, so I'm not sure, but my observation over the years has been that they only zero-point those one or two banks that have +EV or breakeven games.
Just realized I didn't really answer your question. They will zero-point any machines that have any good games on them, even if most of the games offered are -EV. So the presence of APDW on a machine will zero-point all the other games as well.
I don't think this is assholery on their part so much as the (perhaps insurmountable) technical challenge of varying points awards from game to game on the same machine.
An 8/5 game on a machine that doesn't offer anything better will probably award full points. My only -EV experience there is when I played 9/7 DB (99.07%) while chasing a promo, and I earned regular full points, so maybe 99.17% BP gets you full points as well. (The game I played was 50 play, and the best offered on that machine.)

Just to correctly answer this, those 4 machines are NOT zero points, contrary to what Kevin says. I played on them within the last week and earned points on 99.96 APDW and qualified for a promotion that required points to be earned.

If accurate, that's a major change. There used to be signs on those machines that baldly stated no points earned.
No wonder it's almost impossible to get a seat. Not that you have any advantage, with their pathetic slot club.
I've only been there a couple of times recently, but not once was anyone else playing those machines. And yes I checked the pay scales. These were the NSUD 99.96 machines.
