Better than a Royal

Last day of the trip, I was down about $4200. Had decided to put in 3 more hundred and call it a negative trip.

Playing $DDB at the RR...started playing at 2:00 (had spent the morning at the LV Gift Show) and finally gave up the ghost at 10:00, with no break. Rang up 40,000 status points, averaging 1,000 hands an hour, I was up $3,700. I love playing at high speed, but usually cut it back to the 600ph range when playing $'s..but the wins just wouldn't quit (even the background music seemed to synch with my playing).

The best part was no W-2G's! I actually had 6 quad aces at $800 each! Along with that came a dealt straight flush (king high), 2 dealt 4OK and at least 10 other 4OK. What a run!

May have lost for the trip, but I sure liked the ending.
"I was down $4200, had decided to put in $300 more and call it a negative trip"(captain bill). ..........My report would have read, "was down $4200 and had decided to put in $300 more while contemplating jumping off the roof of the casino!........Nice comeback!

I had one of those days too, about 10 years ago. Congrats, and I agree much better than a royal!
Thanks, Captain Bill, for that report! I'm happy that the $4,200 loss ended up becoming (I think) a $500 loss. So it wasn't as disastrous as it could have been! At least you also ran up a nice number of points. Hopefully they can be used for something good as well!

Nice come-back, and even better to happen at end of trip!
WAY TO GO!!!!!
Great comeback, Captain Bill! And no W-2G's!!
