Big win - not mine

Sequential royal hit at Red Rock Resort

WOW! Nice hit for someone.

That had to be a shock to whoever the player was.

Anyone know how long it ran before it was hit?  What it reset to after?

The stuff of dreams, for sure...

That'll make the manager groan  =)

It looks like its an 8/6 JOB game with the progressive.    Not sure I'd be willing to play that for $5/hand - but I'm sure the winner would be happy to disagree with me.

Base game is bonus poker deluxe, 98.5%. At $5 per hand, $217,591 sequential royal adds about 1% to the game with huge variance.

And there's no reason for the manager to groan. All that money comes from the players, not the casino. He might groan because the Sequential will reset but he shouldn't care about the payout. The casino can never keep that money. Even if they take the game away, they have to distribute the progressive money someplace.

There are "smaller" games offering sometimes big progressives if you hit a Sequential Royal Flush. I found a few banks at Palace Station on quarter level and also at Red Rock. The problem is that the game at Red Rock for quarter denom is a 8-5 ddb which is a lousy paytable unless you hit it really big there is basically zero chance to score. The only time I would play it is if there is a multiplier day or so..... I would say a quarter sequential progressive starts to be interesting if the meter stands above 60,000 Dollars....
