bingo questions

would welcome any input on bingo in vegas...favorite bingo room and why...is there any website
that tracks all of the various bingo events and promotions...many thanks
Ok, while we're on the subject....
I'm sure we've got some avid Vegas Bingo players here. At the risk of sounding like a complete dummy (it's ok, I've been called worse!), I have some questions. So, how does it work? I know the game of Bingo of course and I've been to "church league" bingo once or twice. I had to buy a set of cards good for maybe five games and a little ink guy to stamp them with. Then, they had special games to buy. I'm assuming in Vegas that you have to buy for each game? If so, roughly how much are the games? How long does one take, on average? Do you have to buy the little ink stamp thing? Do you buy by the card or a bunch of cards? Anything else I'd need to know? Thought I might try one out next month.
Thanks!
There have been several great threads all about Bingo. One I remember was a while back titled "would any one like to detail bingo for me" posted by jenaphir. Do a search in this category (sorry, I don't know how to post the link to it).

just about any place you go will be fine. The money balls sessions with highest money ball gives you a better chance. some sessions pay double triple etc. A session usually lasts about a hour. The more cards you buy, the more expensive the session. the payouts remain the same whether theres one player or 500 players.
If you're worried about missing numbers, you can load your cards onto an electronic player for a small charge and it will tell you when you win, no matter how many cards you are playing. Give it a shot. buy in for around $25, you will probably lose more than that in a hour playing in the casino anyway. Theres always a chance you'll win big.

I'm not much of a bingo fan, but here's a direct link to the thread mentioned by LindaP, above:

Hope it helps. Have fun!

I am still a fan of Bingo at Gold Coast and Suncoast. Southpoint also has a similar game setup.

I do recommend getting the machine fro $2 to keep track of the games, especially if you aren't an experienced paper player with a holster for your dauber. I personally find playing the paper much too stressful. The games move too fast. No time to enjoy my two free cocktails.

The B I N G or O specials are pretty good deals if you don't mind the extra cost. At the very least take advantage of one of the buy 4 get 2 free specials which are also good. The ladies at the cage will help you out the first time, but you will come away having no idea what language they were speaking (Bingo-speak) or what you bought.

For any Bingo game at any location that you try for the first time, I think I would just walk up and say "I am new to this. Which of the specials do you think would work best for this session?" (some sessions blue cards are the way to go other times it is good to have a few reds, greens and tans). Their first question to you will be "How much do you want to spend?"
I do love the bingo threads. Heres my 2 cents. My favorites- South Point Gold Coast and Palace Station.
There are now 2 bingos downtown at binions and vegas club. I dindnt care for the DT bingos everything was lower class from the equipment the rooms and the players themselves.
Nicest bingoo rooms are RED Rock Aliante and Southpoint.
I would say SP in the most crowded.
What hall is the least busy, in everyone's opinion? Are there any all-paper halls left? Last year, I remember reading about one all-paper hall, but not sure anymore?

Brent
they have all paper bingo at both the fiestas
