bingo time

almost every spot  with bingo has games every two hours on the  odd  hours ...... how  come ?

The casinos like to provide lots of dead time for the bingo players, hoping that it's not enough dead time to leave the casino between bingo sessions.  Gives them a captive audience for the machines and tables.

Also, the games are at odd hours because the joints that do it all day found that 8 am is a little too early for the first game, and 10 am is a little too late. 9 am is juuuust right. It got to be pretty much a tradition after a while, to the point where I know of no casino that offers even-hour bingo. But I could be wrong about that.

And while it's true that they want players to wander out into the casino and play slots and such during the interval times, the practical matter is that they could never really offer back-to-back sessions without a break in between--they need to tidy up the playing area, sell cards for the next session, give employees breaks, etc.
