Blackjack: Wizard of Odds Aces & Fives count

Our friend the Wizard has a simplified counting method, tracks only aces and fives. He recommends it
for players who "want to milk comps from the casino". That got my attention.

Anyone tried this? How did it go. Would you recommend this?
Ace/Five count is easy to learn and use. It also doesn't bring heat from pit bosses. However it only brings the odds up to even on a six deck shoe with good rules, it does not give the player an advantage. For that reason it is derided on bj message boards by advantage players.

I have used it and do recommend it for players moving up from basic strategy and for players who don't put in many hours at the table over a year. It will keep you in the game longer, help you have more winning days and less losses.

Give it a try and good luck
Thank you Rocky. This is for recreation and comps and sounds like it fits what I am looking for here.

Question: As to comped rooms, where would you play

1. Using a bet spread of $25, $50, $100

2. " " " $50, $100, $200
Downtown is bj heaven for table rules and comps, anywhere up there would be generous except GN.

On the Strip MGM properties would be a good bet, at green chip level I suggest Luxor, MC, and Excal.
Trop is also a good bet.
Having my wife play slots at the casino where I play helps a lot with the comps.

Stay away from any of the Caesars properties for table play. Only CP has good rules beginning at black chip and then few comps.
