Caesars AC a no go. Reno will substitute.

Can't force myself to drive the 11 hours just for CET comp room on boardwalk. Too weary lately. Instead, got RT to Reno from a voucher stashed with being bumped. New deal, & problems, such as being used to cashback, or freeplay and comps for grinding at VP. As I'll not likely make reno a regular stop, I read VPdooce for any +ev anywhere. Say it ain't so! Best I see is circus c, having some freeplay and some comp % that's at least measurable. As I'm staying at harrahs I'll try using the 4! 25c job machines. If CET continues the trend toward 25 or 50 Usd per point, I'm out! Is there a better 25c JOB option in Reno? Thanks for any help and Good luck!
Circus Circus, Silver Legacy, and ElDorado are across the street from Harrah's Reno. They are connected so you can walk from one through the others without going outside. They are all modern casinos.

Harrah's Reno regular rooms are worn out Motel 6 but clean, good AC, comfortable bed (our friend got a room with a bad bed, she got moved the next day and bed was good). Actually had a good TV too. If you are 7 Stars you can probably get a little better room (suite). It is just an old place, that's all. Their staff are all really nice.

Eateries at Harrah's--HHAGG is OK; buffet is the worst ever; Diamond Room is small but good bartending, not much in the way of real food, some ham pinwheels at dinner time. There is a Starbucks. Again, staff try to please, fast and friendly drink service, and their gin and tonics were actually better than some I've had elsewhere.

We liked Silver Legacy, played a lot there. The only VP I played there was Wheel Poker which I like a lot and is hard to find anywhere. Sorry I didn't pay attention to the JOB. Easy to get comps at SL. They have a wonderful steak house (I forget the name) and a very good cafe, among several eating options there.

Hope this helps a little.
Harrah's Reno is much better than Motel 6, especially in the superior West Tower. No they're not Bellagio, maybe not even Monte Carlo, but they're far better than Motel 6. The East Tower was originally marketed as a Hampton Inn (I think) and isn't quite as nice, but still much nicer than a Motel 6. I've stayed in both towers and a few Motel 6s in the past year.

You'll find 25c JoB at Peppermill, Atlantis, and Sparks Nugget, among others. These are the best all-around casinos in town, the ones that get the most play from locals. They're roughly comparable to South Point and Orleans, if you know those properties. None of them are within walking distance to Harrahs, but there is very good, very quick city bus service to each, should you need it.
Thanks for all the help. I certainly expect to weasel signup FSP and dine on CET comp$ that date back to the Race! I guess the jazz of going new places ( haven't been in 10 years) will overtake my get-the-freeplay- and -run mentality. As for rooms. I love when I'm surprised, but not a 'star' and won't be, forsure. Thanks again, and Good luck!
