Cheap Roulette?

Ok, I am not anything close to a real gambler. I play $20-30/day max on most of my trips, and I love roulette. But I am CHEAP! I used to play at the table games happy hour at the Westin Casaurina where it was .25 chips/$1 min, then they switched roulette to the electronic machine (which I do not like). I moved up to slots-O-fun with .50 chip/$2 min and had fun, but I read that they have removed all the table games.

Yes, I know that the odds are terrible. But for however long it takes me to run through my chips, I am a Bond girl. (And as a almost 50 soccer mom, that doesnt' happen often!) The group at the table often gels into a party, and when we get a fun dealer it's even better.

I leave Thursday night, can anyone out there help me keep my pet game/fantasy alive?

Thanks!

I probably shouldnt even reply to this post as I dont have a concrete answer, but anyway...I remember driving down Paradice Blvd (runs parralel to the strip) and remember seeing a sign that had 25cent roullete. I really want to say it the sign was on the back side of the Riviera casino. Hopefully this jogs some memories from someone else that might help.

Good luck and let us know how you make out weggie
According to the Cheapo Vegas website, the El Cortez still has quarter roulette and they mention some casinos off-strip (AZ Charlie's Decatur and Bighorn). But I don't think the new owners of the site are keeping it up to date; I'd call the El Co and check before heading over there expecting a game.
The El Co is the way to go!

Thanks, I'll check out the El Cortez! I'll update when I get back next week.

One challenge in researching this was that many info pages did not have the dates of last updates, and so listed Westin and Slots-O-Fun.
Yes, unless things have changed within the last month -- which is the last time that I paid a visit to that casino (and you can check out El Cortez's website to verify this), as long as you make $1 minimum bets, you can use $0.25 Chips.

And I also think (but this also should be checked out), that at Klondike Sunset Casino in Henderson, as long as you make at least $1 minimum bets, you can use $0.10 Chips! Maybe Western Casino (since it is still open until sometime in January) still has cheap Roulette as well!

Well have a safe, fun and profitable trip!

You definitely want the El Cortez. They still do quarter roulette, and usually have a couple wheels in motion during prime gambling hours.
El Co definitely.
Thanks so much for all the input, played 3x at El Cortez. On Friday early evening they had 4 tables of .25 chip/$1 minimum roulette rolling! My last session I walked away with $55 from a $20 buy in, so I had a very good time.

The bathrooms were nicely updated, and the place was fresher than I imagined it would be. The security guard did have me take my purse off of my chair and put it on my lap, and the dealer confided that they get "crazy people in here lots!"

Thank again for helping me find my new roulette home!

You're very welcome! I'm happy that I could help you out! And I think that El Cortez is not a bad place to go. I play Blackjack and some VP there each time that I visit LV.
