Coast 5X Points

Do those points multiply to your tier score when playing VP?

Does 1000 points become 5000 or doesn't it work that way on VP?

From the BConnected website:

"Getting To The Points
Here's how you'll earn your points:

$1 Coin-in Slots = 1 point and your Card Score* increases by 2
$1 Coin-in Video Poker = 1 point and your Card Score* increases by 1
1,000 slot points = $1 of FastPlay** downloaded to your favorite machine or $1 cashback**.

*Card Score has no cash value.
** 5,000 slot point minimum to activate FastPlay and redeem cashback. FastPlay available at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, and Sam's Town.

For Table Games your Card Score will increase based on your length of play, average bet and type of game."

In short -- the "card score" is what determines your tier level. Slot points are for comps and cashback. So, in answer to your question, multiplier points are SLOT points and do not contribute to your card score/tier level. They are shown in your account as totally separate numbers.

Its how you download your points for free play. Press the fast play button and follow the instructions.

You spend your points to buy "free play." You can do this right on the machines at the Cannery, too. At Station properties, you need to do it at a kiosk before going to the machine you want to play.

Hopefully I won't have to use "FastPlay" on my upcoming trip.

I usually get my Ca$h Back when I'm all done gambling, and then either use it for the airport VP, or better still take it home with me.

The problem with the Stations program is that if you select $100 in free play, you get it all at once. At Coast you can select the amount you want to play at each machine.
Much more convenient at Coast.

Captain, at Stations, you select the amount you want to redeem for slot play on the kiosk. You then download it into your account on the slot machine you want to play. You do NOT have to play it all at once. You can cash out whatever money is in there, NOT including the free play balance, and move to another machine or wait for another day. The slot play redeemed at the kiosk is good for 30 days. Come back a week later or whenever, and the slot play balance will show on your machine when you put your card in.
