College Hoops Postscript

I forgot to link my annual "Smoking the Seeds" discussions of the NCAA hoops brackets. Here were the 2024 blog entries:

The mistake I made was to totally forget to bet on UConn at any stage. I don't normally bet college anything, as it's really professional sports, albeit lower-level. But everything I heard was that UConn was playing at a higher level than everyone else.

And you know nothing about sports as well.  

Kevin, I think Jerry has a crush on you.

Definitely an obsession. Someone must have turned him down for sex. Next time, Jerry, offer her (him?) $1000, not $500.

I won my company pool with the grand prize being my choice of corporate-logo-piece-of-crap from the company store.      I think I'm going to take the beach towel.

Have you seen his sport takes?

We've seen YOUR "takes," and the only impression you make is that of yet another old man who thinks that his sports opinions are 100% gospel truth.

Now try to justify your asshole behavior yet again. Don't apologize. That would be unmanly.

These types of posts, e.g. the one just above mine, ruin nearly every good conversation started.  I had hoped that everyone would respect Anthony Curtis' plea to keep posts polite, at least in every non-Kitchen Sink forum.  This one started out nice, fun, informative.  Then it wasn't.   Too bad.
