Cosmo sportsbook..how strict???

Last August I placed $10.00 on the Giants to win the NFC (8-1). I figured I'd cash the ticket in next week when I arrive in Vgeas (8/14). I looked on the back yesterday and it states that I have (had) 120 days to cash it from the date of the event (which was 1/22).

Years ago I bet the Steelers to win the Superbowl at Ceasars and August of the next year it was no problem cashging my ticket.

Soooo the question is...do you think the Cosmo will cash it for me or am I screwed?????

As a Patriots fan I have to say that you deserve to lose $10 just for betting on the G-men, that said....

I bet on the Patriots a couple of years ago at MGM grand, the ticket had the same disclaimer on the back, and when I went back a full year later, they didnt even blink an eye.

Not sure what the cosmo will do

I have always sent in my tickets snail-mail and have never had a problem. I did not certify.

They don't have to, but they should honor it. They have already taken it into revenue as unclaimed tickets, so
you just might have to get a supervisor to override it.

the reason you had no issue with the steelers ticket is the expiration date used to be 360 days. Most if not
all of the sportsbooks have shortened the time frame, some of them to 60 days so they can drop the liab off
their books and claim it as revenue. Crappy but true. Curious to see what you experience, please share.

Don't bet futures on the strip, Cantor Harrahs esp bad. Usually get best future odds at the LVH. Even tho I ripped their hotel as a
place to stay. Sportsbook is still the best in terms of futures. No one else even close.
