I am with you Dave. We haven't been playing as much lately, due to the high limits, but things are changing. Both the Suncoast and Gold Coast have had 5 dollar tables on weekday mornings now too. We have a table in our basement that we practice on, so when we find a good game we are ready to jump in.
The casinos are FINALLY beginning to recollect that a $5 table where people are playing makes more money than an empty $15:table. And anyone who actually wants to bet $15+ can still do it at that $5 table. They might say, yeah, but all those low-roller scum will crowd out the big bettors. Dave S could tell you that a crowded craps table is ten times better than a deserted one.
I mean, DUH, casinos!
