CRAPS LESSON

Leaving for Las Vegas early Sunday. I just printed out a tentative list of what I want to do. One of the things I listed was a free Craps class at 12:15 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I neglected to put down which casino the class was at. Can someone help? Please and thank you

Bill's had been advertising a class in the morning, with a $5 matchplay. It is no longer on the web page.
Concur on Bills; it used to be every day at 10:30. The Caesars corporate blog just mentioned it a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming it's still there. I plan on stopping by once or twice next week just to pick up the match play coupon.

Oh, one other thing I like about the lesson's at Bills: The pit boss who usually gives the lesson's looks a bit like Steve Buscemi. At least I think so...
Thanks for the help. The Tuesday class at 10:15 was at South Point. I'm thinking it might be a little too complicated for me. Maybe I should try Baccarat. Or just stick with Blackjack.
It looks a bit complicated, but once you figure out the basics, it makes sense. Play the pass line, then once the number is established back it with some free odds. Rinse. Repeat. Once you're comfortable with that, make a place bet on the 6, or 8, or both. After you're comfortable with that, maybe try come bet with some odds. Avoid everything else. And don't worry, the dealers will help you get amounts right.
Craps is not as hard as it looks. You don't have to learn everything about the game to enjoy playing so don't be intimitated. I have been playing for years but I still like to stand next to one of the employees in case I have a question. I would suggest finding a place with a $5 or less table to start out with.
